got a core membership to change my username, so i might as well post art while i'm at it!
10 years!
i missed the exact day but yeah! i've been on this site for a decade now-- and it's treated me much better than tumblr, but that's a journal entry for another day LMAO
10 years later, i'm about to start my first semester getting my fashion design degree from a nearby community college. right now i think my focus will be illustration, but it's entirely possible that i'll fall in love with garment construction or something as i get deeper into the program. all i know is that I'M EXCITED!

sometimes life surprises you in the most pleasant ways.
there are so many bad things in the world, but it's days like these that make life worth living. i only wish i could go back in time and tell my depressed self a year ago that it's worth it, it's all totally worth it.
for the first time in over four years, i'm finally in an official relationship again, with a friend i've known for well over a year. i prefer to date longtime friends because there's none of that early-relationship awkwardness. we know each other's boundaries and it's wonderful.
one of my old music mentors from high school just came out as transgender; one who showed me
sabo is upon us!
yeah man! it's midnight which means two days til saboten! i made the mistake of having a few sips of an energy drink earlier (it was COTTON CANDY FLAVORED how could i not) and now im really fidgety and excited. i read some old journals from sabo 2010 & have been listening to old vocaloid songs all day so i feel like it's 2010 again. i'm every bit as excited as 13 year old me was for my first sabo and i kinda love it? hype is what keeps me alive honestly.
